Frequently Asked Questions
Our Locations & Pick-up Places
We normally operate out of Clearwater, Dunedin and Belleair Beach. We can meet our guests at whatever waterfront dock or marina is most convenient to them, whether they are staying at a local hotel, condo, Airbnb, or driving in from a nearby town. Once your reservation is confirmed, we will ask you where you are staying or driving from to determine the pickup location that is most convenient for you.
What Should We Expect on our Cruise?
A Great Time! But really, it’s up to each group and we’re pretty flexible, however most people want to do a combination of dolphin watching, island hopping, sightseeing, shelling on sandbars, swimming, stopping at a restaurant, etc. Just let the Captain know what you want to do and where you want to go.
What Can We Bring for Food & Drink?
Bring whatever sandwiches, snacks, fruits that you want and of course water, sodas and alcoholic beverages. However, for the safety of our guests and care of the boat, we ask that everyone drink responsibly, and we do not allow red wine on the boat. We want you to enjoy your time, however we require respectful behavior at all times. Please no glass bottles if possible.
Do You Have a Cooler for Our Use?
Yes, we have a 75 qt cooler with ice provided for your convenience. Please feel free to bring your own small cooler for more capacity if necessary. No Styrofoam coolers please.
Is There Music on the Boat?
Yes, you can connect your device (Iphone) to our sound system using Bluetooth.
Can I plan a party or event on the yacht?
Yes! We have had work events, bachelorette, bachelor, birthdays, graduations, vow renewals, proposals, and more! Our boat is a great place to hold those special memories. We would love to work with you to create your special day.
Can We Smoke on Board?
No, for safety reasons, smoking is not allowed on board, but you can smoke off the boat when we visit the islands, beaches, and sand bars.
Do I Need Sea-Sickness Medication?
Our Captains make every effort to make sure your time onboard will be nice and smooth. But, because of the inherent nature of boating, and because weather conditions change, we will experience some waves and motion. We do not provide sea sickness medication.
Can We Fish Off the Boat?
Fishing is only allowed with 6 or less passengers and when Captain Jeff is the Captain for the cruise.
What Kind of Wildlife Will We See?
The intracoastal waterway and the barrier islands and surrounding waterways are filled with lots of creatures that swim, crawl and fly. It is possible we will see dolphins, sea turtles, sharks, manatees, rays, fish, Eagles, Osprey, crabs and more!
Does the Yacht go into the Gulf or Just the Inland Waterways?
PLEASE NOTE ABOUT DESTINATIONS:
Because of the no wake zones and travel times: 2 & 3 hour trips will be local & dolphin viewing with a trip to the nearest island or open Gulf at Clearwater Beach.
4, 6, and 8 hour trips can be to the sandbars at Caladesi, Honeymoon, & Three Rooker Islands.
If you have any questions about destinations or special requests, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Is There a Bathroom Onboard?
Yes! A nice and clean one.
Should We Tip the Captain?
Gratuities are standard in the boating industry when a vessel is crewed with a Captain and mates. It is always appreciated. We recommend the same % that you would give your waitstaff at a restaurant.
Do You Have Life Vests Onboard?
Yes! We have all of the US Coast Guard required safety equipment with life jackets for everyone on board and all sizes for children (not infants). You are welcome to bring your own if you would like to.
